SIGNING DAY CENTRAL |
|
The excitement is building for the unveiling of Florida Tech Football’s second recruiting class, which will be announced on Signing Day this Wednesday, Feb. 1.
Starting at 7 a.m. ET, FloridaTechSports.com will provide up-to-the-minute news on the 2012 class through this Signing Day Central webpage. This webpage will include bios and highlight videos of the newest Panthers.
For media members, the recruiting class will be announced in a press conference Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Clemente Center. A live webcast of the event will be available through the GameCentral portal at FloridaTechSports.com or by clicking the Signing Day Central banner at the top of this page. Head coach Steve Englehart will give an overview of the class with assistants Jayson Martin, Willie Tillman, Ray Herring and Michael Nahl.
The 2012 class is the first under Englehart. The new student-athletes will compete with 48 current Panthers who enrolled at the start of the fall 2011 semester.
Updates will be provided on Twitter at Twitter.com/FTPanthers.
Per NCAA rules, FIT Athletics will announce a signee when the program has received and FIT Athletics Compliance has verified the signee's National Letter of Intent. Signees are not officially Panthers until approved and listed on the Signing Day Central webpage.
Following Wednesday's press conference, Englehart reflected on his first recruiting class at FIT in a video interview. To view the clip, please click here.
