BOCA RATON, Fla. (Baseball) – One day after being named All-Sunshine State Conference First Team, K.C. Clabough, James Mannara and Ryan McChesney were selected Daktronics All-South Region Second Team on Thursday. The honor is Clabough and McChesney’s second, while it is Mannara’s first of his collegiate career.

A senior shortstop, Clabough paced the Panthers in games started (49), stolen bases (35) and hit-by-pitch (14). He tied McChesney for the team lead with 60 hits, 13 doubles, two triples and 38 runs scored.

Mannara, a junior relief pitcher, recorded a team-best 1.25 ERA and a 4-2 record in 50.1 innings. He made one start and 25 appearances out of the bullpen, making five saves. He permitted just seven earned runs and struck out 49 batters.  

A senior catcher and first baseman, McChesney was chosen all-region at first base. He ranked first among his teammates in batting average (.368), slugging percentage (.601), on-base percentage (.478), RBIs (39), home runs (7) and total bases (98).

Voting for the Daktronics All-South Region Teams was conducted by the region’s sports information directors.
