Saltmarsh Announces Fall Golf Schedule

MELBOURNE, Fla. (Men’s and Women’s Golf) Florida Tech’s men’s and women’s golf teams will both take part in four tournaments this fall, head coach Chris Saltmarsh announced Wednesday.

The Panther men will begin their fall campaign with the Flagler Invitational, held at The Palencia Club in St. Augustine, Fla., Sept. 26-27. They will then travel to The Country Club of Columbus in Georgia for The Cougar Invitational Oct. 3-4. They will wrap up the busy three week stretch with the NSU Shark Invitational Oct. 9-11 in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

The fall season will come to a close when the men host The Collegiate Players Cup Nov. 5-6.

The Panther women have four road trips on their schedule, starting with the Lady Falcon Invitational Sept. 24-25 at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla.

After a two-week break, the team will compete in a tournament for three straight weeks beginning with the Shark Invitational Oct. 10-11 in Palm Beach Gardens. They will then participate in the Saint Leo Invitational Oct. 16-18 at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club in Saint Leo, Fla. The last tournament for the women will be the Flagler Fall Slam Oct. 24-25 at Marsh Creek Country Club in St. Augustine.
