MELBOURNE, Fla. (Football) – Florida Tech is giving fans a look behind the scenes of the development of Panther Football as it prepares for the inaugural 2013 season through a player-written blog titled, “Inside the Huddle.”
The Panthers have been given the opportunity to share their thoughts on life as an FIT football player. These blogs will range from the daily life of a Panther student-athlete, attending classes and adjusting to college life, to how it feels taking the field donning the Crimson and Gray. #53 Andy LeMay Fr., Linebacker, 6-0, 210 Wellington HS (Wellington, Fla.) Psychology Florida Tech football has been an amazing way to start off my college experience. Being on the team creates many friendships before the school year even starts and gives you a great sense of pride on campus amongst the other students. Starting off the Panther pride tradition this year, knowing we are beginning an amazing, high integrity and highly competitive program is an opportunity many will never have. #74 Bradey Karrick Fr., Offensive Line, 6-6, 285 South Fork HS (Palm City, Fla.) Psychology So far my time here at Florida Tech has been a good one. The faculty and staff are all very polite and helpful, and they have made the transition from high school to college very easy for us. I have met many people from various states around the country, as well as individuals from other countries. I enjoy going to class and the class sizes are small, so it is very personal and engaging. Football is going great. The whole campus is resonating with the sound that football has arrived at Florida Tech, and they seem to be just as excited as the team. I am looking forward to a great year of athletics, academics and civil service. Go Panthers! |
