MELBOURNE, Fla. (Football) – Florida Tech sophomore Collin O’Neal sat down with FloridaTechSports.com for a video interview in the locker room at the new Varsity Training Center earlier this week.
The sports management major from Auburndale, Fla. discussed the start of the Panther football program, the team’s practice season, his position change from quarterback to athlete, Saturday’s intrasquad scrimmage and the excitement leading into the inaugural 2013 season. FIT will hold its third scheduled intrasquad scrimmage on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Palm Bay High School’s Pirate Stadium. Since the second scrimmage was canceled due to inclement weather on Oct. 6, fans will see the team compete for the first time since the inaugural intrasquad scrimmage at Pirate Stadium on Sept. 15. Admission into the scrimmage is free. Fans unable to attend can follow the live stats and listen to the audio broadcast at FloridaTechSports.com/live. |
