2012: Named Sunshine State Conference Runner of the Year after winning SSC Championship (10/20) and USTFCCCA All-Region after finishing third in NCAA Division II South Region Championship…academically, he was named USTFCCCA All-Academic...also named to SSC Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll and FIT Athletic Director's Honor Roll...finished Florida State Invitational (10/5) with his top 8K time of season in 25:33.6…earned five top-seven finishes on season, including four top-five finishes.

2011: Awarded USTFCCCA All-South Region...named USTFCCCA All-Academic...also named to FIT Athletic Director's Honor Roll and SSC Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll…finished in a season-best third place in Florida Tech Invitational with a time of 27:28…recorded a season-low time of 26:00 at Charlotte Invitational…placed 12th in Sunshine State Conference Championships with a time of 26:55…finished season with a top-25 performance in NCAA South Regional.

2010: Named USTFCCCA All-Academic...also named to FIT Athletic Director's Honor Roll and SSC Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll…had four top-twenty finishes…took 15th place at University of Tampa Early Bird Classic in a time of 23:50.37, his quickest race and best finish of year…claimed 20th spot in Sunshine State Conference Championships where he was clocked at 26:33.17…ran to a 39th-place finish at NCAA South Regional in a time of 34:32.3.

High School: Attended Vashon High School in Vashon Island, Wash…played soccer, cross country and tennis for Pirates…in soccer, he was a two-time first team all-state honoree and was awarded all-league MVP…also played six years of soccer for Harbor FC.

Personal: Son of Tony and Ann Cacciapaglia…chose Florida Tech for its marine biology and aerospace programs…after his Panther career concludes, he would like to attend grad school or enter the environmental workforce…enjoys running, fishing, snowboarding, scuba diving, building stuff, playing soccer and frisbee, and relaxing at the beach…favorite sport is soccer…admires people with high morals.
