Florida Tech Panthers

High School: Attended J.I Case High School where she graduated with a 4.645 GPA in the year 2018.  While there, she participated on the Swimming and Track Teams where she earned four varsity letters.  Her team continue to win awards such as the City Champions, Crescendo Conference Relay Holders and the 300 Breaststroke Conference Relay Record Holders.  She also gained personal honors including the All-Conference first team 500, the All-Conference second team 200 and All-Conference Sportsmanship Award.

Club: Pennings was a member of the Pleasant Prairie Patriots for five years.  the Club team achieved the Open Water State and Zone Qualifier and 9th at the Open Water State.

Personal:  Chose Florida Tech because she loves the academic programs being provided, especially Ocean Engineering.  Also,  Pennings enjoys the sense of team bonding that she has experienced at the institute.  She believes that it will be an academic and physical challenge and as a result, brings excitement to what she will be able to accomplish while attending Florida Tech.
