Charles and Ruth Clemente Center

Opening in 2001, the Charles and Ruth Clemente Center is home to the Florida Tech Panthers Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball and Volleyball teams. This 58,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility includes: a varsity gym, intramural gym, large fitness center, group fitness room, multipurpose room, athletics offices and a healthy café/eatery.The fitness area features many options for strength training, cardio machines and group fitness classes for all skills and levels. The building also houses the Doller Training Room, which serves the varsity student athletes. Every semester the Clemente Center, also hosts graduation for students

In 2020, the Clemente Center's gym floor underwent a new design. The modern look has a rocket ship behind the "FT" lettering at center court to pay homage to Melbourne being on the Space Coast. For athletic events, the gym can hold up to 1,500 people in its seating. With great support from the student body and local community, the Clemente Center has proven to be a tough place for visiting opponents to win at.

The facility is named after Charles and Ruth Clemente who were instrumental in the funding for the project.
