Nancy Bottge Field
The Nancy Bottge Field opened in 2001 and is located adjacent to Andy Seminick-Les Hall Field, the home of Panthers’ baseball. Named after former head coach Nancy Bottge, who coached the Panthers for 11 seasons. She guided the Panthers to a 316-237-2 record during her tenure and never had a losing season.
To the left of the field is the Tim Wakefield Batting Facility which holds two batting cages for players to hit. The field features lights for night games, two dugouts, a scoreboard, seating room for approximately 250 spectators, and restrooms located by the concession stands.
Florida Tech Softball has an overall record of 230-133 (through the 2008 season). In 2019, the Panthers captured their first SSC Championship title at Nancy Bottge Field in a 5-0 win over Eckerd. Tech also hosted its first NCAA DII South Region Two tournament at Nancy Bottge Field in 2019 and won the South Region Two Championships.
