Varsity Training Center

The Varsity Training Center (VTC) officially opened in 2012 and is home to the Panthers Sports Medicine and Performance Department. Located inside VTC is the official athletics weight room of the Florida Tech Panthers, which is utilized by all 15 varsity sports.

The weight room features free weights, weightlifting platforms, cardio, and stability equipment with direct accessibility to the varsity training field located directly outside of the weight room.
The Sports Performance department is dedicated to teaching our scholar-athletes how to safely use strength-training equipment, along with the proper techniques and skills.

The Sports Medicine Department is committed to providing the best possible services for the scholar-athletes. Updated throughout the 2022-2023 academic year, the VTC features a sports medicine suite for taping, treatment, and rehabilitation areas along with a cold hydrotherapy pool.

Between the Sports Medicine Suite and Weight room is the VTC Meeting Room which is used by teams for team meetings, team activities, indoor film, and whiteboard sessions.

Located on the backside of the VTC are men’s and women’s Locker Rooms for men’s and women’s lacrosse, men’s and women’s soccer, and baseball programs.
