FIRST HALF:
- Panthers leaped out to a 6-0 lead on two Fanny Paulin layups and a Makayla Daniels jumper off a Fanny Hakanson assist with 5:19 left.
- Sinking their last five shots, Tech took a 20-12 lead at the end of the first quarter. Baskets by Aiste Vaitekunaite, Severine Uggen, Hakanson, and Lina Stranger-Johannessen.
- Tech ensued on a 15-4 run, capped by a three by Vaitekunaite to grab a 38-17 lead with 3:35 to go.
- A three by Hakanson stretched the lead to 24 points, 44-20, their largest of the half.
- Tech carried a 47-25 lead into the break.
SECOND HALF:
- EWU opened the third quarter going on a 8-2 run to cut their deficit, 49-33, 7:38 remaining.
- A 13-3 run, including four shooting fouls, allowed Tech to push their lead back to 27, 65-38.
- Hakanson sunk a half court three at the buzzer to a 70-43 lead going into the fourth quarter.
- Nedd recorded a layup in the paint assisted by Hannah Roney to give Tech their largest lead of the game, 81-48.
- Tigers ended the game on a 8-2 run, but the Panthers took the win 85-61.
NOTABLE PANTHERS:
- Vaitekunatie paced the Panthers with 16 points on 7-11 shooting including 2-2 from beyond the arc.
- Hakanson added 12 points on 4-6 shooting from the three, 10 assists, three rebounds and one steal.
- Roney charted 12 points on 4-7 shooting from the three, three assists, and one steal.
- Paulin recorded 12 points, six rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
- Cheyenne Scott tallied seven rebounds and shot 100% from the charity stripe (6-6).
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- Tech finished the game shooting 48.4% (31-64) from the field, 46.2% (12-26) from beyond the arc, and 100% (11-11) on free throws.
- Tigers shot 33.9% (21-62) in the contest - 10.5% (2-19) from the three-point range and 60.7 (17-28) at the line.
- EWU outrebounded Tech 42-35, led in fast break points (12-7), second chance points (18-8) and tied for points in the paint (32-32)
- Panthers recorded 37 bench points to EWU's 15.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Hakanson's 10 assists moved her to 352 career assists and ties number five in Florida Tech's career assist leaders.
- Scott recorded a career-high seven rebounds.
