ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla.- The Lady Panthers traveled to Saint Augustine to face Flagler for the second time this season
. Freshman Tai Roberts scored 21 points on the road against Flagler to capture the Panthers first win of the season.
INSIDE THE MATCHUP:

FIRST QUARTER
- For the first two minutes of the game not many shots were falling for either team.
- Flagler was able to score first with a layup, but Tech responded with a three pointer from Emily Acampora to give Tech the one-point lead with 7:55 to go.
- With 4:00 minutes left, Sarah Liberatore knocked down both of her free-throws to tie things up at 5 a piece.
- Tech went on a 10-2 run to end the first half, giving the Panthers a 13-7 lead heading into the second quarter.
SECOND QUARTER
- The Panthers opened the second quarter with 7-2 run to give Tech their largest lead of the game.
- Flagler responded with a run of their own to close the gap to 10.
- Tech's offense continued to get stronger with each possession as Tai Roberts knocked down a three pointer with 2:45 to go.
- The momentum quickly shifted, and Flagler would go on an 8-0 run to close out the second quarter.
- Heading into the half, the Panthers led 26-22.
THIRD QUARTER
- Florida Tech drew a foul early on sending Flagler to the free throw line for three shots. The Saints made all three and the lead was cut to 1 for Tech.
- Aiste Vaitekunaite made her season debut and hit a clutch three pointer to push Tech's lead back to four with 6:32 to go.
- It was back and forth for most of the third quarter.
- With 1:35 to go, the Panthers hit back-to-back three pointers from Vaitekunaite and Severine Uggen to push the lead back out to 8 for Tech.
- With 1.0 seconds on the clock, Lina-Stranger Johannessen grabbed an offensive rebound, went back up for the layup was fouled for a chance at a three-point play.
- Johannessen made her free throw, and the Panthers were up by 11 with 10 minutes left to play.
FOURTH QUARTER
- The Saints scored a quick four points trying to creep their way back into this one cutting the lead to 7 with 7:55 to go.
- With 4:50 to go Tech called a timeout. Coming out of the timeout with the shot clock about to expire, Sarah Liberatore hit a deep three-pointer to stretch the lead back out to 14.
- Uggen hit her third three-pointer of the game and the Panthers would have their largest lead of the game, up by 17 with 3:46 to go.
- Roberts hit a jumper with 1:45 to go and that would seal the deal for Tech.
- With less than a minute to go, Flagler would go on a 5-0 run, but it wouldn't be enough to overcome the double-digit deficit.
NOTABLE PANTHERS:
- Roberts led the Panthers with 21 points, one steal, three assists and four rebounds.
- Liberatore tallied 14 points, one assist and one rebound.
- Uggen added 11 points, four rebounds, and two assists.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- The Panthers are 16-5 in the all-time series against Flagler and 8-1 on the road.
- Panthers shot 39% (23-59) from the field, 42.9% (9-21) from beyond the arc, and 85.7% (18-21) on free throws.
- Flagler shot 35.3% (18-51) from the field, including 42.9 (6-14) from the three, and 85% (17-20) at the line.
- Tech led in rebound (38-33), second chance points (13-9) and bench points (33-20).
- The two teams were tied with 18 points apiece in the pain, but Flagler led in points in fast break points (7-4).
UP NEXT: Florida Tech will be back at home on Wednesday, Nov. 30 to take on Tampa. Tip-off is set for 5:30pm.
