TAMPA, Fla.- Women's basketball traveled to Tampa for their final road game of the season. The Panthers showed some resiliency batting back, but the Spartans outscored Tech 18-7 in the fourth quarter to secure the win.

GAME ONE:

FIRST QUARTER
- The Spartans took a 6-2 lead with 7:33 to go following a three-pointer and a free throw.
- Back-to-back three-pointers from Emily Acampora and Lina Stranger-Johannessen gave the Panthers a 10-9 lead with 4:32 left.
- A 10-0 run by the Spartans extended their lead to nine.
- Farah Shaaban's three cut the deficit to six heading into the second quarter.
SECOND QUARTER
- Speer recorded her first career-double scoring 10 points and grabbing 101 rebounds.
- Liberatore's jumper started the quarter and pulled Tech within four.
- The Spartans scored seven straight points to push their lead to 13.
- Tampa outscored Florida Tech 14-6 in the second quarter. Heading into the half, the Panthers trailed 33-19.
THIRD QUARTER
- The Spartans continued to stretch their lead with a three pointer to start the third.
- Liberatore answered on the other end of the court with her own three pointer.
- A steal by Acampora led to a nice layup from Grace Speer. With 7:22 left, Speer drained a three and cut the deficit to 11.
- Divine Guthrie was sent to the line with 3:54 to go. Guthrie was fouled on the following play sending her back to the line. She made all four of her free throws to keep Tech within 11.
- Florida Tech outscored the Spartans 15-13 in the third.
FOURTH QUARTER
- Dalma Ehmann's layup pulled the Panthers within 10.
- Tampa responded with a layup and another three-pointer that extended their lead right back to 15.
- The Spartans would go on to score the last nine points of the game to secure the win.
NOTABLE PANTHERS:
- Speer recorded her first career double-double scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds.
- Liberatore added 10 points, while Stranger-Johannessen chipped in five points and seven rebounds.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- Florida Tech is now 35-45 in the all-time series against Tampa.
- The Panthers shot 24% (14-58) from the field, 33% (6-18) from behind the three-point line, and 88% (7-8) from the free-throw line.
- Tampa shot 41% (24-58) from the field, including 27% (7-26) from beyond the arc and 60% (9-15) at the free throw line
- Tampa led in rebounds (37-34), second chance points (10-9), and points in the paint (22-7).
