ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Panthers came out firing on Tuesday night, building an early lead and maintaining control with strong three-point shooting to secure an 86–75 road win at Flagler.
Elif Bayrak and
Nandinkhusel Nyamjav each surpassed the 20-point mark, helping Florida Tech record its highest scoring output since last season's opener.

FIRST QUARTER:
- For the second straight game, the Panthers were locked in from the opening tip, with the defense generating two quick steals.
- Although the Saints scored first at the 8:19 mark, Tech responded with a dominant 15–0 run, shooting 5–7 from the field while Nyamjav poured in six points during the stretch.
- The run was capped by Bayrak jumping a passing lane for a steal and pushing the ball up the floor before finding Michaela Medico under the basket for an easy finish.
- Sydney Logsdon caught fire late in the quarter, burying two three-pointers in less than a minute to extend Tech's lead to 22–8 with 1:48 left.
- A handful of Flagler free throws closed the gap, and the Panthers entered the second quarter ahead 24–14.
SECOND QUARTER:
- Flagler opened the second quarter with a pair of three-pointers before the 8:30 mark, cutting the deficit to six.
- Bayrak and Nyamjav answered with threes of their own to restore a double-digit lead at 38–23.
- A brief stretch of Flagler layups trimmed the margin to seven, but Tech closed the quarter on a 10–6 run.
- The Panthers took a 50–39 advantage into halftime.
THIRD QUARTER:
- Mikayla Morin helped keep the Saints at a distance early in the third, knocking down two tough paint jumpers within the first two minutes.
- Flagler tightened the gap with back-to-back threes, but Tech maintained control with a 58–47 lead.
- Late in the quarter, Bayrak resurfaced with a pair of three-pointers, both set up by pinpoint passes from Nyamjav.
- The Panthers matched every Flagler basket the rest of the way.
- In the final second, Flagler's Abby Smith banked in a desperation three, trimming Tech's lead to 70–62 heading into the fourth.
FOURTH QUARTER:
- An 8–2 surge by the Saints cut the Panthers' lead to just two with 7:06 remaining, but Tech answered with six straight points to regain control.
- Bayrak then buried back-to-back threes, stretching the margin to a four-possession lead.
- Strong defensive play down the stretch secured the Panthers' 86–75 victory in St. Augustine.
NOTABLE PANTHERS:
- Nandinkhusel Nyamjav led the Panthers with 24 points, shooting 9-for-15 from the field while adding a team-high eight assists and two blocks.
- Elif Bayrak also reached the 20-point mark with 23, knocking down 7-of-14 from beyond the arc and pulling in a team-best nine rebounds.
- Michaela Medico delivered a strong all-around performance with 10 points and four rebounds in 28 minutes.
- Remingtyn Smith made life difficult for the Saints, tallying a career-high five steals.

- Florida Tech now holds a 19–7 record against Flagler.
- Since the start of the 2015–16 season, the Panthers have a 7–5 edge in the series.
- Tech is 10–1 all-time on the road at Flagler, winning by an average margin of 16.2 points.
- The Panthers' 50-point first half was their first since recording 50 against Flagler on November 16, 2021.
- This is the first time Tech has had two 20-point scorers in the same game since November 13, 2021, vs. West Alabama.
- Bayrak's seven made three-pointers are tied for the third-most in a single game in program history and the first time the mark has been reached since Fanny Paulin hit seven on March 7, 2021, at Barry.
- She is one of seven players to make seven threes in a game, and only the fourth to do so.
- Tech's 12 made threes are tied for the sixth-most in a game in program history and are the most in a single contest since hitting 14 on November 13, 2021, against West Alabama.
- The Panthers' 55.6% field-goal percentage (minimum 50 attempts) is their best since shooting 55.8% on February 20, 2019, at Embry-Riddle.
- It is also the fifth-highest single-game field-goal percentage (minimum 50 attempts) for the program since the 2007–08 season.
