Women's Soccer Draws Against Barry

KENDALL, Fla. – The Florida Tech women's soccer team draws against Barry on Saturday, Oct. 10.

GAME NOTES
  • Lotte Waibel took the first shot of the night in the 9th minute where the shot drifted wide.
  • Iselin Brualokken had a shot at the Buccaneer net, but the shot was deflected by a defender.
  • The Panthers fired shots in the 15th and 21st minutes, but neither shot was on target.
  • Tech earned the first corner of the match in the 31st minute. The ensuing cross went out for a Barry goal kick.
  • Brualokken ripped a shot on the Buccaneer net that hit off a Barry defender and out of bounds for a second Florida Tech corner. The corner was well defended and did not result in a shot of any kind.
  • Marina Amorim tallied the first shot on goal in the 36th minute. The Barry goalie was able to corral the lone save of the half. 
  • In the 45th minute, Kamila Pena put a shot towards the Barry net, but the shot was blocked again as the clock ran out in the first half. 
  • Barry stopped the Panthers attack in the 53rd minute as they saved a shot from Tech's Eboni Bradshaw. The Bucs keeper notched her third save of the match in the 56th minute from a shot from Nina Santiago.
  • Florida Tech notched shots in the 65th and 66th minutes from Lotte Waibel and Eboni Bradshaw, but neither would result as a shot on goal.
  • Tech stayed on the attack and had another opportunity in the 68th minute. Alice Mottershead's shot went off target to keep the game knotted at 0-0.
  • The Buccaneers gained momentum after drawing a foul on the Panthers. The Bucs shot in the 71st minute was off target as the Panthers defense continue to shut down the Barry attack.
  • Alyssa Gonzalez attempted to put the Panthers ahead in the 78th minute, but Barry's keeper collected her third save of the game.
  • Nina Santiago and Lotte Waibel had good looks at the Barry net, but both shots were unable to convert.
  • Tech had one final opportunity to break the 0-0 tie, but Barry's defense held strong as Alice Mottershead's shot was saved.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
  • Florida Tech outshot the Buccaneers 16-2. Barry did not register a shot on goal. 
  • This is Tech's first time being held scoreless this season.
  • Mette Brandes earns her fifth clean sheet of the 2026 season and has now picked up shutouts in her last three out of four matches.
