WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The games were never out of reach for the Panthers offense who found a way to come from behind in both 8-7 victories, sweeping the Sailfish in the first series of the 2026 conference schedule. Tech overcame a one-run deficit in Game Two and a four-run deficit in Game Three.

- The Sailfish doubled, scoring a runner on second to take a 1-0 after one inning.
- Tech quickly responded with a three-run inning in the second. Haley Rider began with a leadoff single then scored on a groundout two batters later.
- Julianna Hynes and Mia Terito's back-to-back singles were reward when Chloe Fariello scorched a double to left field.
- The Panthers 3-1 lead didn't last long as the sailfish hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the third to regain a one-run advantage.
- The back-and-forth game continued in the top of the fourth. Ella Niles, Fariello and Kate Rodel singled to bring home four runs as Tech retook a 7-4 lead.
- Fariello took care of business in the circle for the fourth inning, but the Sailfish would fight in the fifth to tie the game at 7-7 with another dinger to left field against a different Panthers pitcher.
- However, Palm Beach Atlantic was not the only team who could go deep. When Miranda Schwartz was finally not intentionally walked, she smacked a ball to the tennis courts for the difference in the game.
- Hynes stepped into the circle for two outs in the sixth then gave the reigns to Ava McCormick to wrap up the inning.
- McCormick forced a pop out then stuck a better out before finishing it with a groundout right to the Panthers first base to win 8-7.

STATS OF THE GAME:
- Flipping the script of the first two games, Tech grabbed the first inning lead with two runs. After Fariello singled and stole second, Emma Chisholm doubled to bring her home.
- Once Rider single and moved Chisholm to third, Rider proved a distraction between first and second, opening an opportunity for Chisholm to cross home plate.
- However, PBA scored a two-spot in the bottom of the inning on a couple of doubles, tying the game at 2-2.
- Following a three-and-out by the Panthers, the Sailfish scored four runs on two hits in the bottom of the second for the 6-2 advantage.
- Kelsey Hahn came in to pitch the third and put the Sailfish down in order.
- In the fourth, Brooklyn Lorenzo stroked a double for an RBI on zero outs. Later, Fariello drove in Lorenzo, drawing within two runs of PBA.
- Once PBA changed pitchers, Chisholm made them pay with an RBI single, which Fariello was also able to score on a throwing error, giving Tech the 7-6 on a five-run inning.
- Hahn fought through runners on first and third with one out by striking out the final two batters in the fourth.
- However, the Sailfish broke through in the fifth for two-runs once again tying the game at 7-7 for the second straight game.
- Despite two walks during the sixth, the Panthers did not pull ahead.
- PBA threatened in the bottom of the sixth waling the leadoff batter and stealing second. However, Fariello who came into pitch at the start of the inning tallied a strikeout out.
- The Panthers' defense helped Fariello when Schwartz catch a line drive at third and quickly threw it to second for the force out double play to get out of the inning.
- Jacqleen Golden pinch ran for Rodel who was hit by a pitch. Golden moved to third on a sacrifice bunt and wild pitch. Lorenzo drilled a sacrifice fly to score Golden for the winning run.
- Fariello made it look easy in the final inning with two ground outs and a strikeout, securing the Panthers sweep over PBA.

- The Panthers move to 44-31 all-time versus the Sailfish.
- Panthers have won six of 10 series since PBA joined the SSC ahead of the 2016 season.
