FIRST QUARTER
- The Mavericks scored the game's first goal on a free position shot.
- Colorado Mesa struck twice and extended their lead to 3-0 with goals at the 9:24 mark and 8:28 mark.
- After two yellow cards, the Panthers capitalized with goals from Sophia Scichilone and Abby Cudzilo to cut the deficit to one.
- Tech took advantage of another CMU yellow card as Gillian Craig tied the game.
- With 40 seconds remaining, Bridget Robinson made a save to keep the game tied going into the second quarter.
SECOND QUARTER
- Gillian Craig found the back of the net to give the Panthers the lead in the beginning of the second period.
- The Mavericks tied the score on a free position shot shortly after.
- Bridget Robinson made two saves to keep the game tied with 11:44 and 9:30 on the clock.
- Clare McGuire scooped up a ground ball and scored seconds later to give Tech the 5-4 lead.
- The back-and-forth game continued as CMU score twice as they went into halftime with the 6-5 lead.
THIRD QUARTER
- Colorado Mesa hit back-to-back goals as the Mavericks extended their lead to 8-5.
- Robinson made another nice save in the net which led to a nice opportunity as Tech drew two fouls.
- Phoebe Hurt and Gillian Craig took advantage with goals to bring Florida Tech within one.
- CMU scored at the 6:46 mark to end the Panthers momentum.
- Tech capitalized on a free position attempt just under five minutes as Abby Cudzilo scored her second goal of the game.
- Haley Rosa tied the score at 9-9 with a goal with 1:18 left in the quarter. Assist credited to Phoebe Hurt.
- Robinson made a save with nine seconds remaining to preserve the tie going into the final quarter.
FOURTH QUARTER
- Tech captured the lead as Ailish Fitzpatrick scored off an assist from Sophia Scichilone.
- After a draw control win by Isa Brown, Gillian Craig quickly scored after as Tech took an 11-9 lead.
- Colorado Mesa went on a 3-0 run on offense as they regained the lead at 12-11.
- Florida Tech responded with two goals of their own from Clare McGuire and Isa Brown.
- With 2:29 remaining, CMU scored a man-up goal to tie the game at 13-13.
- With a minute left, Abby Cudzilo shot one passed the Maverick goalie to give Tech the 14-13 lead.
- CMU quickly won the draw control and scored with 54 seconds left to tie the game.
- Colorado Mesa took the lead with 24 seconds left.
- Down by one, Clare McGuire won a crucial draw control to give Tech a chance. With five seconds left, CMU made a huge save as they went on to win 15-14.
