ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Florida Tech women's basketball lost 84-42 on the road against Eckerd.

FIRST QUARTER:
- Eckerd won the opening tip, but early misses on both sides kept the scoreless start intact as Tech secured defensive rebounds.
- The Tritons struck first with a driving layup and free throw to take an early 3–0 lead.
- Amanda Ogbonna answered in the paint, scoring the Panthers' first basket off a Bayrak assist.
- Eckerd extended the margin with fast-break layups and a three-pointer to push the lead to 10–2.
- After the media timeout, Tai Roberts got Tech on the board at the line, followed by a Morin jumper to cut into the deficit.
- A pair of threes from Eckerd stretched the lead to double digits.
- The Panthers showed late momentum as Remingtyn Smith drilled a three-pointer, then Roberts converted three free throws in the final second.
- Tech closed the quarter on a quick 5–0 run, trimming the deficit to 17–13 heading into the second.
SECOND QUARTER:
- Eckerd opened the period with a three-pointer and continued to stretch the lead behind perimeter shooting.
- The Tritons knocked down another three at 7:02 to push the advantage to 23–8.
- Bayrak provided a brief spark with a pull-up jumper at 5:39, and Roberts followed by getting to the line to chip away at the deficit.
- The Panthers found success attacking the paint, highlighted by an Ogbonna hook shot at 4:02.
- A late Tech push featured baskets from Roberts and Smith, but Eckerd answered with interior scoring to close the half.
- Tech headed into halftime trailing 33–18 after a challenging second quarter.
THIRD QUARTER:
- Eckerd scored early in transition to extend its lead and set the tone coming out of the break.
- Tech answered at the free-throw line, with Roberts converting a pair to slow Eckerd's initial run.
- Tech closed the quarter with a brief spark, highlighted by a Winder three and free throws from Rea Ukaj, but Eckerd maintained a commanding advantage heading into the fourth.
FOURTH QUARTER:
- Eckerd opened the quarter with a three-pointer and continued to stretch the lead.
- Deirdre Miller three and a driving finish from Roberts trying to slow the Tritons down.
- The Panthers continued to compete, with points from Roberts, Ukaj, and Miller, but turnovers limited any sustained momentum.
- Tech closed the quarter with defensive effort and a few late looks, but Eckerd maintained command through the final horn.
NOTABLE PANTHERS:
- Tai Roberts led all Panthers with 11 points and tallied three rebounds and four assists.
- Deirdre Miller grabbed seven defensive rebounds and scored eight points.
