MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Florida Tech women's soccer team picks up their first clean sheet of the 2026 season as they defeated Tusculum 3-0 on Saturday, Sept. 5.

GAME NOTES

• The Panthers controlled the ball early as Anae Malbete fired the first shot of the game in the 3^rd minute that missed high.
• Izzie Bromage punched home her first goal of the season in the 4^th minute off a pass from Eboni Bradshaw that snuck past the Tusculum keeper.
• Tech earned back-to-back corner kicks in the 6^th and 8^th minute, both neither resulted in a shot. 
• The Pioneers had a chance to tie the game in the 12^th minute, but their shot missed far right.
• Following Tusculum's first shot of the game, the Panthers threated again in the 18^th minute as Alice Mottershead's shot hit the crossbar. Tech kept the pressure on with two good looks off corners in the 21^st minute, but neither shot was on target.
• Tusculum's keeper made three saves from the 24:17 mark to the 26:35 mark.
• Tech broke through with their second goal of the game as Iselin Brualokken found Maria Rojas for her second goal of the season.
• The Panthers kept the petal as Maria Rojas and Marina Amorim had looks at the goal, but both were saved. 
• Tusculum's defense held strong at the end of the half as they withstood five Panther shots as the half ended with Tech having the 2-0 advantage.
• Alice Mottershead fired twice at the Pioneer goal in the 49^th and 50^th minutes, but both shots were saved. 
• Izzie Bromage struck again in the 79^th minute off another great ball perfectly placed in the box.
• From there on, the Panthers maintained possession and limited Tusculum to one final shot which came in the 89^thminute that missed high. 

 
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE

• Izzie Bromage notched her first and second goals of the season and tallied her third career multi-goal game.
• Eboni Bradshaw had her first multi-assist game as a Panther.
• Tech outshot Tusculum 29-5.
• Mette Brandes earned the first clean sheet of the 2026 season.
