Biography
2015-16: Tabbed Second Team All-Sunshine State Conference...broke the school record in the 1650-yard free in 15:37.07, grabbing bronze at the SSC Championships...swam a season best 1:41.88 in the 200-yard free...swam a season best 4:34.19 in the 500-yard free...swam the 1000-yard free in 9:21.43.
2014-15: Competed in freestyle races...placed 10th in the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:37.85), 11th in the mile (16:11.80), 14th in the 500-yard freestyle (4:41.27) and 18th in the 200-yard freestyle (1:44.28) at the 2015 SSC Championships...broke his own school record in the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:35.54) vs. Florida Atlantic...also won the 500-yard freestyle (4:42.58) against the Owls...touched first in the 1,000-yard free (10:02.30) and 500-yard free (4:50.48) at Rollins...won the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:54.31) against Savannah College of Art & Design.
2013-14: Competed in freestyle races during his freshman season… broke the school-record in the 1,650-yard freestyle (16:00.39) and 800-yard freestyle relay (6:57.85) at the SSC Championships… won the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:50.71) and 500-yard freestyle (4:49.84) vs. Mount Union (1/5).
High School: Attended The Sagemont School in Weston, Florida.
Personal: Son of Andrea and Luisella Rossi...brother Emanuele also swims for FIT...chose Florida Tech for its academics, proximity to the beach and because it is located in the beautiful state of Florida...most admires his father for taking over the family business at 17 years of age when his grandfather passed.
