2015-16: Participated in freestyle and backstroke events... placed ninth in 50-yard freestyle (23.97), fourth in 200-yard freestyle (1:36.98), raced in 100-yard freestyle (53.12), 200-yard freestyle (2:03.23) and 100-yard backstroke (1:01.22)... set an individual school record in the 50 free and was part of the team that set the school record in the 200 free relay team.

2014-15: Raced in freestyle and backstroke events...finished seventh in the 100-yard backstroke (57.74) and 12th in the 50-yard freestyle (24.68) at the 2015 Sunshine State Conference Championships...also competed in the 100-yard freestyle (54.46) at the conference meet...set the program record in the 400 free relay (3:34.26)...won the 50 free (25.12), 50 back (29.42) and 100 back (1:02.01) against Rollins...touched first in the 100 back (1:01.36) against Savannah College of Art & Design.

2013-14: Competed in backstroke and freestyle races during her freshman season… garnered the Panther women’s first-ever medal at the SSC Championships, grabbing bronze in the 100-yard backstroke with a program-record time of 57.10… set a new school-record in the 50-yard freestyle at the Shark Invitational (12/14), finishing in 24.25 for second… won the 100-yard freestyle at Nova Southeastern (10/19), touching in 54.84… won the 50-yard freestyle at Florida Southern (10/26) with a time of 25.05… claimed the 50-yard backstroke at Rollins (11/9), finishing in 28.09… took the 50-yard freestyle against Tampa (11/22) with a time of 24.46… finished the 50-yard freestyle against No. 22 Lewis (1/1) in 25.71 for first-place… won the 200-yard medley relay (1:55.68) and 50-yard freestyle (25.35) vs. Mount Union (1/5)… took first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:00.86 against Savannah College of Art and Design… was the fastest in the 50-yard freestyle at Saint Leo (1/17), clocking in at 25.52… helped guide the 200-yard freestyle relay team to victory vs. Rollins (1/18) with a time of 1:42.50 and also claimed the 100-yard freestyle at a clip of 55.19.

High School: Graduated from Forest Hill Community High…participated in swimming, earned four Varsity letters…team MVP junior and senior year…team captain junior and senior year…county, district and regional champion in the 100m Freestyle.

Club: Member of Lake Lytal Lightning for seven years.

Personal: Daughter of Leo and Karen Suarez…chose Florida Tech because it is the perfect location to study Marine Biology…hopes to work in medicine with marine mammals…admires her sister Julie because she is well rounded, a great athlete, and a great person.
