Game Day Policies
Florida Institute of Technology encourages a fun, respectful, and family-friendly game day environment for all attendees. The following policies cover tailgating, alcohol, outside food and beverage, and general entry rules for outdoor athletic events.

Field Access
All spectators and guests are prohibited from coming onto the field at any time. Only participants, coaches, officials, and authorized personnel are allowed in the competition area before, during, and after the contest — until both the officials and visiting team have left the facility.
Sportsmanship
The NCAA, Sunshine State Conference, and Florida Tech support good sportsmanship and will not tolerate abusive actions, language, or gestures from fans, players, coaches, or officials. Extreme or continued unsportsmanlike behavior may result in dismissal from the contest.
Conduct
Inappropriate language or actions directed toward Florida Tech Athletics personnel or Campus Security officers will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the venue and campus.
Throwing Objects
For safety reasons, throwing objects in any athletics facility is prohibited. Violators are subject to removal from the facility.
Ticket Information
Purchase tickets in advance through Hometown Ticketing or at the gate on game day.
Locker Rooms & Showers
Location
Locker room access with showers is available pre- and post-game in the Clemente Center, 3011 Panther Place, Melbourne, FL 32901.
Action Required
Please confirm in advance whether you will utilize the locker room by contacting our Game Operations staff listed in the Contacts section below.
Parking & Team Drop-Off
Bus and van parking after dropping your team off is in the Psychology Place Parking Lot adjacent to the Student Design Center (see map below).

Drop off at the Panther Athletic Complex next to the Varsity Training Center (VTC). Proceed to the field by following the gravel road between the Baseball field and the VTC Practice Field. Stottler Field is located on the 1st base side of Baseball — there is a concession stand building with bathrooms in the middle of the complex.

Drop off at Stottler Field via the Player/Game Personnel Gate on the east end of the field on the bench side (see map below).

Bench Areas & Hydration
Bench Location
Bench areas are located next to the press box, on the opposite sideline from fan seating. When standing at midfield facing the press box, the Visitor's bench is on the right and the home bench is on the left.
Hydration
Florida Tech will provide a treatment table, 10-gallon coolers of water with cups, a 3-gallon cooler of emergency ice with bags and wrap, and a biohazard container.
Visiting SID
If a visiting SID or other media plans to travel, please provide advance notice to the Athletic Communications staff listed in the Contacts section below.
Host Sports Medicine Coverage
Athletic Training Room
Athletic Training Room facilities are located in the Varsity Training Center.
On-Site Equipment
The host athletic trainer will have a long-bed golf cart and emergency equipment at Rick Stottler Field, including a splint bag and AED.
No Athletic Trainer Traveling?
Please notify staff in advance if your team will not travel with an athletic trainer. We ask for advance communication regarding any taping or treatment needs. Please ensure your team brings adequate supplies if a visiting athletic trainer is not traveling — the host athletic trainer will treat as needed.
Hospital
Directions to Holmes Regional Hospital or a local urgent care facility will be provided upon request. The host athletic trainer will notify the visiting athletic trainer of any injuries evaluated.
⚡ Lightning Policy
Sports Medicine staff, coaches, and athletics staff monitor the Weather Sentry app. The ATC will communicate with game officials before the contest if weather is a potential threat.
Lightning within 10 miles
WARNING issued. Monitor closely.
Lightning within 8 miles
STOP PLAY immediately unless All-Clear notice is active on the app.
30 minutes clear within 8 miles
ATC communicates the All-Clear to the home team coach and officials before play resumes.
Home team: Varsity Training Center.
Visiting team: Team bus (first option) or Varsity Training Center if bus is unavailable.
Spectators: Personal vehicles.
⚠ NOT CONSIDERED SAFE SHELTER: Dugouts or the overhang of the concession stand building.
