Biography

2012-13: Named DII Bulletin Honorable Mention All-American, Daktronics All-Region Second Team, NABC All-District Second Team, All-Sunshine State Conference Second Team, SSC Player of the Week (3/4) and Men’s Basketball Athlete of the Year…finished second in steals per game in Division II, 17th in assists and second in triple-doubles with one…claimed two double-doubles against Palm Beach Atlantic (1/5) and Eckerd (1/12) while also recording a triple-double in the same Palm Beach Atlantic (1/5) game… recorded a season-high seven steals against Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras (11/23)…scored a season-high eight three-pointers and 30 points against Tampa (3/2)…scored in double figures in 21 of 27 games…recorded three or more steals in 22 of 27 games…ranked third on the team in points with 15.1 ppg.

2011-12: Named All-Sunshine State Conference Second Team…started 29 of 30 games in which he appeared during his junior season…averaged 13.5 points per game to go with 5.5 rebounds…recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds against Saint Leo (3/10)…recorded a season-high 10 assists to go with 14 points against Lynn (2/29)…led the team with 101 assists and 76 steals on the season…shot 41.7 percent from the field while hitting 32.7 percent from behind the arc…hit a season-high six three-pointers with 24 points against Nova Southeastern (2/8).

2010-11: Started 28 of 31 games in which he appeared…averaged 12.2 points and four assists per contest…had a triple-double against Trinity College (12/30), scoring 14 points, dishing out 11 assists and grabbing 11 boards… led team in assists (126), steals (55), three-point field goals (60) and minutes played (998)…connected on a season-high six three-pointers against Florida Southern (2/2).

2009-10: Was on his way to a stellar rookie season, averaging 12 points, 3.2 rebounds and nearly three assists per game while hitting over 51 percent of his shots through the first nine games of season until an injury sidelined him for the remainder of season…season-high 28 points scored against Puerto Rico-Mayaguez (11/16)…dished out a season-best eight assists versus North Greenville (12/15) and grabbed a season-high eight rebounds against Puerto Rico-Bayamon (11/21).

High School: Attended Cocoa High School in Cocoa, Fla.…also ran track and cross country…earned three varsity letters…first on team in scoring and steals…second in rebounds and assists…tabbed team’s MVP and helped team win a state championship…graduated with honors.

Personal: Career goal is to become a civil engineer…chose Florida Tech for its education and basketball…enjoys playing basketball and going to movies in his spare time…favorite sport is basketball…favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant…favorite book is the Bible…favorite movie is “Hoop Dreams”…favorite type of music is rap…would like to visit Hawaii.
