High School: Attended Edmond North High School...participated in cross country and track… some key statistics were running a 17:08 in the 5K, a 9:52 in the 3200m and a 4:32 in the 1600m…made all-conference in track and cross country…earned Oklahoma Class 6A state runner-up honors in 2009…national honor society member.
Club: Member of North Edmond TC…helped relay team win AAU 800m.
Personal: Born May 12…son of Steve and Shawn Maddox… chose Florida Tech because of its location and being able to run…his post-grad goal is to become an airline pilot…enjoys flying airplanes…favorite sport is track…favorite athlete is Chris Solinsky…admires Steve Prefontaine for his “all-out racing”…favorite quote is “If you ain’t first, your last”…favorite book is “Once a Runner” by John L.
