2015 (Track and Field): Named to the 2015 Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll...claimed a spot on the 2015 CoSIDA Academic All-District Team...Competed in 10 events for Florida Tech...qualified for the Peach Belt Conference Championship in the 1500m and 5000m...ran a 4:26 in the One Mile at the Embry Riddle Last Chance Meet on 2/20...ran a 2:05 in the 800m at the UCF Invitational on 3/27...ran a season best 4:07 in the 1500m at the UCF Invitational on 3/27...ran a season best 8:43 in the 3000m at the Embry Riddle Last Chance Meet on 2/20...ran a season best 15:23 in the 5000m at the Embry Riddle Spikes Classic on 4/3...participated in FIT's first ever Peach Belt Conference Championship appearance.

2014 (Cross Country): Competed in six races for FIT with one more to go...team's top runner in every race...Sunshine State Conference Runner of the Week for Sept. 22-28...named to USTFCCCA All-South Region Team...ran a season best 8K at University of Florida Mountain Dew Invite on Sept. 20 with a time of 25:47...one of seven runners selected to represent Florida Tech at NCAA South Region Championship on Nov. 22 where he ran a 32:51 10K...qualified for and ran in the NCAA Division 2 National Championship placing 218th with a 34:42 in the 6 mile race.

2014 (Track and Field): Named USTFCCCA All-South Region in 5,000 meter run…named Capital One Academic All-District…competed in seven meets taking part in distance events…set program record in 5,000-meter run at Pepsi Florida Relays on April 4 with a time of 15:07.99…season best 800 meters came at USF Invitational on March 14 with a time of 2:00.97…season best in 1,500-meter run came at UNF Invitational on April 26 with a time of 4:02.12…recorded six top five finishes…named to FIT Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

2013 (Cross Country): Named to USTFCCCA All-South Region Team...recorded a season best time of 25:56.72 at Florida State Invitational...marked five top 25 finishes...named to SSC Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll.

2013 (Track and Field): Placed sixth in 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:11.91 at Miami Invitational...took home a victory in 3,000-meter run at Miami Invitational with a time of 9:00.57...placed third in 2,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 6:36.90 at USF Open...finished 11th in 5,000-meter run at UNF Invitational with a time of 15:43.59...finished sixth in 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:46.95 at ERAU Spikes Classic...placed eighth in 5,000-meter run at Ryan McCall Track Meet...member of 4x400-meter relay team that placed sixth at Ryan McCall Track Meet.

2012 (Cross Country): Finished in a season-best 20th place at Saint Leo Invitational (9/29)…recorded a season-best 8K time of 28:10.8 at Florida State Invitational (10/5)…earned three top-40 finishes on season...named to SSC Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll.  

2012 (Track and Field): Finished 15th in 800-meter run and was 13th in mile run at Embry-Riddle Last Chance Invitational...placed 15th in 3,000-meter run at USF Bulls Invitational...finished seventh in 5,000-meter run at ERAU Spikes Classic with a time of 16:05.03...placed 10th in 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:27.39 at Hurricane Alumni Invitational...finished sixth in 3,000-meter run at Tom Jones Memorial Classic with a time of 9:32.68.

2011 (Cross Country): Recognized for his efforts in classroom by being selected to Athletic Director’s Honor roll as well as the SSC Honor Roll…finished in fifth place at Florida Tech Invitational with a time of 28:12…ran Sunshine State Conference Championships in 27:40 to finish in 22nd place…marked a top-50 finish in NCAA South Regional.

High School: Attended Horseheads High School…participated in cross country, indoor and outdoor track, and swimming…key statistics were running two-mile in 9:49, one-mile in 4:42, 800m in 2:04 and 5K in 17:05…selected to all-division cross country team…helped indoor 4x800m relay team win Section IV Class A Championship.

Personal: Son of Justin and Karen McMaster…nickname is JT…chose Florida Tech for its flight program and cross country team…post college plans include becoming an airline or freight pilot…admires his  dad.
