2016 (Cross Country): Captain of the men's cross country team...ran in four meets for Florida Tech...ran a season best 8K in 29:27 at the Sunshine State Conference Championship hosted by FIT on 10/22.

2016 (Track and Field): Competed in 12 events for Florida Tech...ran a season best 800m in 1:57.47 at the UNF Spring Break Invitational on 3/25...ran a season best 1500m in 4:22.16 at the UCF Black and Gold Challenge on 3/18...part of the 4x400m relay that broke the school record in 3:18.68 at the Peach Belt Conference Championship on 4/23...qualified for and competed in the Peach Belt Conference Championship for the 800m...named to the Peach Belt Conference Track & Field All-Academic Team.

2015 (Cross Country): Captain of the men's cross country team...competed in all seven races...ran a season best 8K at the Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic on Oct. 9 in 28:59...one of seven runners selected to represent Florida Tech at the NCAA South Region Championship on Nov. 7.

2015 (Track and Field): Named to the 2015 Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll...claimed a spot on the Peach Belt Conference Track & Field All-Academic Team...competed in nine events for Florida Tech...qualified for the Peach Belt Conference Championship in the 800m and 1500m...set the school record in the 600m with a time of 1:27.11 at the Embry Riddle Last Chance Meet on 2/20...ran a season best 1:57.8 in the 800m at the Embry Riddle Spikes Classic on 4/3...ran a season best 4:15 in the 1500m at the Embry Riddle Spikes Classic on 4/3...ran a 11:00 in the 3000m at the USF Bulls Invitational on 3/12...participated in FIT's first ever Peach Belt Conference Championship appearance.

2014  (Cross Country): Competed in five races for FIT...recorded a season best 8K time of 29:48 at University of Florida Mountain Dew Invite on Sept. 20.

2014 (Track and Field): Named to the FIT Athletic Director’s Honor Roll…competed in six meets taking part in distance events…recorded four top 10 finishes…season best 800 meter run came at the Embry Riddle Spikes Classic on 4/5/14 with a time of 1:58.47…also ran the 1,500 meters in a time of 4:21.08 at the ERAU Spikes Classic.

2013(Cross Country): Recorded a season best 8k time of 30:19.89 at the Florida State Invitational. He was named to the SSC Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll.  

High School: Attended Oviedo High School in Oviedo, Fla…participated in cross country, track and baseball for the Lions, earning two varsity letters…named 800m Second Team All-Conference his senior year…part of the 4x800m relay team named Second Team All-Conference and All-District his senior year...relay team also qualified for regionals in 2012 and 2013…ran a 17:43 5K and 2:01.9 800m his senior year.

Personal: Son of Nick and Joan Lenssen…has two sisters named Drew and Paige…chose Florida Tech for the location and academics...career goal is to work as a meteorologist for NOAA…admires Dick Hoyt for pushing his son, who is physically disabled, for years in marathons…relative of Frank “Monk” Maznicki who coached West Warwick High School Football and played for the Chicago Bears in 1942 and 1946.
