2014-15: Competed in breaststroke and butterfly races...swam in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:11.18), 100-yard breaststroke (59.67), 100-yard butterfly (52.64) and 200-yard IM (1:59.12) at the 2015 SSC Championships...placed fourth in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:27.08) vs.Tampa...finished fifth against Savannah College of Art & Design in the 100-yard butterfly (55.94).

2013-14: Competed in breaststroke races during his sophomore season… recorded a personal-best in the 100-yard breaststroke at the SSC Championships (2/21), clocking in at 59.11… set a personal-best as part of the 200-yard individual medley at the SSC Championships (2/20), as his team finished in 1:58.61.

2012-13: Earned a spot on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll…swam breaststroke and individual medley events in his freshman season…100 Breaststroke: swam a season best 59.84 at the Sunshine State Conference Championships (2/13-16)…200 Breaststroke: swam a season best 2:09.05 at the SSC Championships (2/13-16)…200 IM: swam a season best 1:58.83 at the SSC Championships (2/13-16)…400 IM: swam a season best 4:12.61 at the SSC Championships.

High School: Four-year letterwinner in swimming…team finished second in state three straight years…holds the state record for 200 medley relay…third in state in 100 breaststroke…swam for Auburn Aquatics swim club for eight years…on math team and played tuba in school band.

Personal: Son of Rich and Charlotte Hoerlein…One brother, Richie, 11 and one sister, Kathryn, 20…career goal is to be successful in whatever he does…chose Florida Tech for its academics and the swim team…most admires anyone who has been through adversity and become stronger from it…majoring in computer engineering.
