Biography
2011-12: Competed in breaststroke and individual medley events…earned three personal season-times in the Sunshine State Conference Championships…swam a season-best 100-yard butterfly in Saint Mary’s dual meet.
High School: Attended Newton North High School…participated in swimming…part of Bay State Conference swimming championship team twice.
Club: Swam for Newton Bluefish for 11 years.
Personal: Son of Winson and Helen Chan…chose Florida Tech because of its climate…admires Randy Pausch for never giving up on life…enjoys playing video and computer games…favorite words of wisdom are “the power of one”…enjoys reading Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six series…Tom Cruise is his favorite actor…favorite movie is “The Hurt Locker”…enjoys vacationing in the Bermudas…would like to visit the island of Tasmania.
