2015-16: Finished 33rd at the NCAA Division II Championship in the 50-yard free in 20.68...swam a season best 100-yard free in 46.76.

2014-15: Competed in freestyle sprints...placed 25th in the 50-yard freestyle (21.25) and 31st in the 100-yard freestyle (47.80) at the 2015 SSC Championships...won the 50-yard freestyle (21.12) and finished fifth in the 100-yard freestyle vs. Nova Southeastern (48.40)...placed second in the 50-yard freestyle (22.05) vs. Lewis

High School: A four-time letterwinner at Nairobi International School in Nairobi, Kenya...also competed in rugby and basketball.

Club: Competed for Seahorses Swim Club in Nairobi, Kenya for two years.

Personal: Son of Festus and Dunera Ilako...has two siblings, Kanyali and Alesa...post-graduation goal is to be succesful in the engineerng field...chose Florida Tech for the Florida weather...most admires his father for his hardwork and dedication.
