2017-18: Posted a 57.76 time for the 100-yard breaststroke during the Sunshine State Championships... swam the 200-year breaststroke in 2:04.91 during the SSC Championships... raced a season's best time of 1:53.72 in the 200-yard individual medley at the SSC Championships... recorded a 400-yard IM time of 4:09.07 during the SSC Championships.Â
2016-17: Swam a 59.45 in the 100-yard breaststroke during the Sunshine State Conference Championship... posted a 200-yard breaststroke time of 2:08.05 at the SSC Championship... recorded a 200-yard individual medley season's best time of 1:57.33 at the SSC Championship... tallied a 4:08.42 in the 400-yard IM at the SSC Championship. Â
High School:Â Attended U.E Colegio Ibero Americano in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela...also competed in volleyball, karate and basketball.
Club:Â Competed for Club de Natacion CIMOS for four and a half years... placed fifth in national competition.
Personal:Â Son of Ramon Carpio and Flava Pirela...has a sister, Claudia...chose Florida Tech for the great weather and swim team.
