Biography
2014-15: Competed in the 500 and 1000-yard freestyle races...placed third in the 100-yard freestyle (10:25.07) and sixth in the 500-yard freestyle (5:05.93) against Savannah College of Art & Design...finished sixth in the 500-yard freestyle against Florida Atlantic (5:00.36)...placed fifth in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:11.07) vs. Tampa.
2013-14: Competed in freestyle races during his freshman season… snagged third at Saint Leo (1/17) in the 1,000-yard freestyle, clocking in at 10:22.89… Placed seventh in the 1,650-yard freestyle at the SSC Championships (2/22) with a time of 16:08.82.
High School: Graduate of Northeast High School in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Club: Swam with the St. Petersburg Aquatics Club for five years.
Personal: Son of Shane and Lisa Colvin…has one younger brother, Jacob…would like to go into a career designing race cars… chose Florida Tech for its respected mechanical engineering program, the nice campus, and the great surfing…admires Eric Bana and Jason Lezak.
