2014-15: Competed in freestyle races...placed fifth in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:21.66), 800-yard freestyle relay (6:46.50) and 400-yard freestyle relay (3:01.20) at the 2015 SSC Championships...won the 200-yard freestyle relay against Savannah College of Art & Design (1:25.06), Florida Atlantic (1:24.30) and Rollins (1:25.25)...took the 50-yard freestyle (21.64) and 100-yard butterfly (52.51) at Rollins...garnered the win in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:09.24) at Tampa...won the 200-yard free (1:44.56) against Saint Leo.

2013-14: Competed in butterfly and freestyle races during his junior season… broke four relay school-records at the SSC Champinships, setting new times in the 200-yard freestyle (1:22.27)m 400-yard freestyle (3:06.62), 800-yard freestyle (6:57.85) and 200-yard medley (1:32.90) races… won the 200-yard freestyle vs. Saint Leo and Lynn (10/13), finishing in 1:44.95… claimed the 200-yard medley relay (1:37.61), 200-yard freestyle (1:45.01) and 200-yard individual medley (1:45.01) at Rollins (11/9)… snagged the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:27.22 and the 200-yard freestyle at 1:45.14 vs. Mount Union (1/5)… was victorious in the 100-yard (47.48) and 200-yard (1:44.66) freestyle races against Savannah College of Art & Design (1/11)… helped guide his 200-yard freestyle relay team to a win with a time of 1:26.15 vs. Rollins (1/18).

Previous School: Attended Daytona State College in Dayton Beach, Fla…helped Daytona State finish runner-up at NJCAA Championships for two consecutive seasons…swam in 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle finals at NJCAA Championships…DSC Student-Athlete of the Year in 2012-13 season.

High School: Attended Tingvallagymnasiet in Karlstad, Sweden.

Club Team: Swam in Karlstad, Sweden…bronze medalist at Swedish Nationals in 2009…silver medalist at Swedish Junior Nationals.

Personal: Son of G’ran and Eloisa Westerlund…has two older brothers, Nichlas and Richard…father was a swim team captain at the University of Nebraska.
