2010: Named to Athletic Director’s Honor Roll…medical redshirt…missed entire season due to injury.
2009: Awarded a spot on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll...started all but one game for the Panthers, 46…collected the second-most hits on the team at 38…legged three doubles and smashed two home runs for 17 RBI…also scored 16 times, walked on six occasions and was a perfect 5-for-5 in stolen bases…collected her first hit of her Tech career, a double, in the season opener versus Flagler (2/1)…went 8-for-15 during a four-game stretch (2/21-2/24)…compiled eight RBIs in five games from March 6-7…launched her first home run, a solo shot, against Armstrong Atlantic (2/22) and her second, another solo dinger, versus Paine (3/7).
Prior to Florida Tech: Started nine games and appeared in 24 for South Carolina Upstate in 2008…hit a double, brought in three runs and scored twice.
High School: Attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Mississauga, Ontario…played basketball and softball…earned a spot on the honor roll three years…garnered the Heart of a Lion award.
Personal: Born Sept. 1, 1989…daughter of George and Violet Stepaniuk…career goal is to work in the area of criminal justice…post-graduate goal is to earned a master’s degree…enjoys reading and hanging out with friends in her spare time…favorite sports are softball and basketball…would like to visit Europe.
