2012: Appeared in nine games, earning four starts at pitcher…recorded a 2.87 earned run average, ranked third on team…struck out 11 batters in 39.0 innings while allowing just 17 runs…earned a 3-1 record.

2011: Named to Athletic Director’s Honor Roll…appeared in 23 games in circle, earning 18 starts…marked a 3.35 earned run average, ranking second on team…10-8 record gave her top win percentage on team at .556…ranked second in opposing batting average (.260), wins (10), strikeouts (53), innings pitched (117) and appearances (23)…threw seven innings and allowed just one run with five strikeouts in a 3-1 victory over Dominican (2/27).

High School: Attended Celebration High School in Celebration, Fla…played softball and was a member of weightlifting team…earned two varsity letters…in 2007, she registered 181 strikeouts and a 2.80 ERA…in 2008, she struck out 252 batters and posted a miniscule 0.81 ERA…during her junior year, she was just as impressive, sitting down 225 batters and recording a 1.04 ERA…in her final year, she broke school’s all-time strikeout record, fanning 847 batters over her high school career…member of National Honor Society from 2008-10…Senior Council Vice President.
 
Personal: Daughter of David and Mary Ann Kraus…post-graduate goal is to earn her master’s degree and work as an engineer for Google…chose Florida Tech because it’s one of the top engineering schools and she loved the location…enjoys graphic design, photography and playing PlayStation 3…favorite athlete is Troy Polamalu…favorite quote is “Live free, pitch well”…enjoys vacationing in New Mexico…one day she would like to visit Japan or Germany.
