Biography

2010-11: Closed out her career as program’s single-game record holder for consecutive free throws made (14) and steals (14)…tied mark for consecutive three-pointers made (5)…owns program record for most consecutive free throws made (36)…ranks first in career free throws made (488), free throws attempted (660), assists (605) and steals (409)…awarded Sunshine State Conference Defensive Player of the Year for second time and All-SSC First Team for third straight season…selected Daktronics All-South Region Second Team for third consecutive season…tabbed SSC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week…led team in points per game (16.0), points scored (527), field goal attempts (453), field goals made (155), free throw attempts (206), free throws made (164), assists (192) and steals (122)…finished fourth in NCAA Division II in assists per game at 5.8 and fifth in steals at 3.7…started 30 games and played in all 33…recorded four double-doubles…registered double figures in points 28 times…scored 1,695 points over her career.

2009-10: Put together another solid year for the Panthers…awarded Daktronics All-South Region Second Team and All-Sunshine State Conference First Team…named SSC Player of the Week for week of Feb. 22…paced conference with 157 assists and 93 steals…led team in many other categories, including games started and played (27/28), minutes per game (30.9), field goals made (123), free throws made (134) and points per game (15.1)…finished second in rebounds (136) and rebounds per game (4.9)…registered team-high five double-doubles…tallied at least one steal in each game but one…steals streak came to an end at 24 consecutive games…scored 20 or more points eight times…just missed tying her career-high of 29 points with 28 at Florida Southern (1/2)…went a perfect 14-of-14 from free throw line versus Nova Southeastern (2/20) to set a new Florida Tech record…tied her career-high in assists with 12 versus Webber (11/23) and steals with eight against Lynn (1/27)…against Fighting Knights, she had six steals in first half…completed contest with 25 points, 10 assists, eight rebounds and eight steals.

2008-09: Had an outstanding year, providing Tech with explosive offense and defense…named SSC Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 8...tabbed SSC Defensive Player of the Year and earned All-SSC First Team honors...selected All-South Region Second Team…led team in points with 390, averaging 14.4 ppg…also led team in steals and assists with 105 and 139, respectively…posted a season-high 25 points against Flagler (11/29)…recorded eight steals against Eckerd (2/14).   

2007-08: Played and started in 26 of team's 27 games as a true freshman...led team in minutes (797), free throws made (96), assists (117) and steals (89)...ranked second in field goals (108), three-pointers made (43) and points per game (13.7)...either led team in scoring or tied for lead in 11 games...scored a season-high 29 points in a 72-64 win over Fort Valley State (12/29)...pulled down a game-high 13 boards at Rollins (2/13).

High School: Earned four varsity letters at Melbourne Central Catholic…achieved a grade point average worthy of the honor roll…scored 1,000 points in high school career…member of the Lady Ice AAU 2007 national championship basketball team…named team's MVP.

Personal: Born Dec. 21…daughter of Anna Battle…nicknames are Slick and Nee-Nee…plans to graduate and find a job in clinical psychology…enjoys sleeping, eating and hanging out with friends…favorite sport is basketball…favorite athlete is Steve Nash…admires her grandmother, God and her mother because she wouldn’t be here without them…favorite quote is “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”…favorite movie is The Color Purple…listens to all kinds of music…place she’d most like to visit is Fiji.
