Alex Gurecki was hired as Assistant Coach of the Florida Tech women's lacrosse program in January 2019
Prior to coming to Florida Tech, Gurecki served as coach at Windemere Preparatory School in Orlando, Florida where she worked with both the varsity and junior varsity programs. During this time she also held the position of Recreation Coordinator at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.
Gurecki played collegiately for Division II Converse College, which is a member of Conference Carolinas. She served as Co-Captain of the Valkyries in 2014-2015.
Gurecki received her BA in Business Administration & Sports Management from Converse College in Spartanburg, SC in 2015. She is originally from Farmingdale, New York where she was played goalie for the Farmingdale High School girls team.
