Olivia Thompson enters her first season as an assistant women’s soccer coach at Florida Tech.
Prior to Florida Tech, Thompson spent one year coaching at the Cardiff City LFC Academy.
Thompson had a six-year career professional career playing with FF Lugano in the Swiss National League from 2016-17, Cardiff Met in the UEFA Women’s Championship League from 2018-21, and Cardiff City in 2021.
During her time with Cardiff Met, Thompson held led the team to a League Title, FA Cup 2x, and a League Cup.
A Lincoln Memorial University alum, Thompson was a two-time All-SAC selection. She recorded 14 goals and six assists for 34 total points over her four years with LMU.
Thompson is UEFA B Certified. She earned her bachelor's degree in Sport and Exercise Science from LMU in 2016 and received her Masters's Degree in Sport Coaching and Pedagogy from Cardiff Met University in 2021.
