Scott Wilson

Scott Wilson enters his second season on the women’s soccer coaching staff, after joining the program in March 2024.

He previously severed two seasons at Lake Erie College, where he held roles as assistant coach and interim head coach of the women’s soccer program.

At Lake Erie College, Scott oversaw all aspects of the program, including opposition analysis, practice planning, recruiting, and administrative operations. During his tenure, he helped guide the program to its most successful season since 2019 and coached FWD Leonie Witt to the program’s first All-Ohio First Team selection.

Prior to Florida Tech, Scott also gained experience in the United Women’s Soccer League, serving as an assistant coach with the Erie Commodores in 2023. His coaching background extends internationally as well, with experience in professional academy environments including FC Barcelona, Chelsea, AS Roma, and RCD Espanyol.

As a player, Scott graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Superior in 2022 with a double major in Business Administration and Sports Management & Coaching. A three-year team captain, he led the Yellowjackets to three UMAC Regular Season titles, three UMAC Tournament championships, and two NCAA Tournament appearances. Individually, he was a three-time All-UMAC First Team selection, two-time All-Wisconsin Second Team honoree, All-Region selection, and the 2021 UMAC Defensive Player of the Year.

Scott also competed in semi-professional soccer with Duluth FC in the NPSL during the 2021 and 2022 seasons.

He earned his MBA from Lake Erie College in May 2024 and holds multiple coaching licenses from U.S. Soccer, the U.S. Soccer Federation, the Scottish FA, and the English FA.
