Biography
2021-22: Swam leadoff in the Panthers’ sixth place finish (3:58.97) in the 400 Medley Relay B Final at the SSC Championships… Swam leadoff in the Panthers’ fifth place finish (1:39.97) in the 200 Free Relay B Final at the SSC Championships… Swam leadoff in the Panthers’ fifth place finish (1:48.73) in the 200 Medley Relay B Final at the SSC Championships.
2020-21: Finished third in the 50 backstroke against Lynn with a time of 29.76
2019-20: Finished second in the 200 backstroke (2:16.36) and third in the 100 backstroke (1:01.34)against Lynn. Swam leadoff for the team's victory in the 4X200 medley relay... won the 100 backstroke against Saint Leo with a time of 1:00.30... finished second in the 200 backstroke against Tampa with a time of 2:17.23... finished second in the 50 backstroke (28.83) and 100 backstroke (1:01.97) at Rollins. Swam leadoff for the Panthers' victory in the 4X200 medley relay... swam leadoff in Tech's victory in the 4X200 medley relay at the Panther Invitational... finished second in the 100 backstroke (1:02.52) and 200 backstroke (2:17.64) at Lynn... finished third in the 100 backstroke against Nova Southeastern with a time of 1:01.89
2018-19: Finished second in the 100 backstroke (1:01.06) and 200 backstroke (2:14.65) against Rollins. Swam leadoff as the Panthers earned the win in the 4X200 medley relay... finished third in the 100 backstroke at Nova Southeastern with a time of 1:00.80
High School: Graduated from Branford High School with a 4.2 GPA while being part of the swimming team... earned four varsity letters and earned most valuable player junior and senior year... top 10 all time Branford swimmer in 100 yard backstroke and 200 individual medley.
Club: Member of the Soundview YMCA Stingrays and Bulldog Swimming for 11 years... earned Scholar Athlete 2016-2018.
Personal: Daughter of Laima Karosas... chose Florida Tech she saw a future academically and athletically...post graduation goals are to go into grad school for ocean engineering and work in the field.
