Florida Tech Panthers

2015-16: Competed in freestyle and backstroke events... placing ninth in the 100-yard backstroke (58.12) and tenth in the 200-yard backstroke (2:05.48)... against Rollins she had two second place finishes in the 200-yard backstroke (2:14.73) and 200-yard backstroke relay (1:54.94); along with, a victory in the 100-yard backstroke (1:01.66). 

2014-15: Raced in freestyle and backstroke events...placed 8th in the 100-yard backstroke (58.29) and 12th in the 200-yard backstroke (2:07.68) at the 2015 Sunshine State Conference Championships...set the program record in the 400 medley relay (3:56.90)...also competed in the 200-yard freestyle (1:59.84) and 50-yard freestyle (25.73) at the conference meet...finished runner-up in the 50 back (28.22) at Rollins.

High School: Attended Borgarskolan High School in Gävle, Sweden ...participated in swimming.

Club: Member of Harnäs Skutskär Simsällskap for 7 years.

Personal: Daughter of Christer and Annika Björkbacka …has an older brother named Alexander, and a younger sister named Hannah…chose Florida Tech because of the business program and swim team...admires her dad most because he’s her biggest supporter and always encourages her to achieve her goals.
