Stevie Szucs joined Florida Tech in June 2025.. In his role, Szucs serves as the primary contact for Florida Tech's women's soccer, men's and women's swimming, men's rowing, and men's and women's lacrosse.
He brings experience from NCAA Division II programs, most recently serving as Assistant Director of Media Relations at the University of Montevallo.
While at Montevallo, Szucs provided comprehensive coverage for multiple sports, maintained the department’s website and social media platforms, produced game-day video content, and contributed as a public address announcer and play-by-play voice. His sport coverage included baseball, softball, volleyball, swim, track & field, cross country, and women's soccer.
Szucs began his career at Columbus State University, where he assisted with communication duties for baseball, basketball, soccer, and golf, and gained hands-on experience in live stats, graphic design, and game recaps.
Before joining the SID office, Szucs played baseball for Columbus State in 2020.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Communication from Columbus State University in 2022 and his associate degree from Georgia Highlands College in 2020.
