Drew Yenser joined Florida Tech as the Assistant Director of Compliance on January 20th, 2026.
Yenser joins Florida Tech with a strong background in collegiate athletics administration, compliance, and game-day operations, bringing experience across multiple departments and competitive levels. Most recently, Yenser served as an intern at Anderson University before being promoted to a graduate assistant in compliance.
While at Anderson, Yenser managed Teamworks Compliance and Recruiting systems for more than 500 student-athletes and all athletic staff members. His responsibilities included evaluating midyear eligibility and certifying eligibility for returners, transfers, international students, and first-time freshmen, while also assisting with NCAA waivers and violation reporting. In his expanded role, he began reporting and filing NCAA and SAC violations/waivers, and guided athletes with various academic issues, such as class registration and academic holds. He also served as the primary compliance contact for the softball program and assisted student-athletes with academic-related needs.
In addition to his compliance duties, Yenser gained hands-on experience in sports information and game-day operations, working event management roles across multiple sports including basketball, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, softball, tennis, and volleyball. His background also includes game-day internships with Gamecock Sports Properties through Learfield, where he supported corporate sponsorship activations and fan engagement at SEC athletic events.
He is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Anderson University, where he holds a 3.75 GPA and is expected to graduate in May 2026. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Sport and Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina, graduating cum laude with a 3.6 GPA and earning Dean's List honors throughout his undergraduate career.
A native of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Yenser brings strong organizational, communication, and technical skills, with experience using NCAA compliance systems, Teamworks/ARMS, Workday, and Microsoft Office platforms.
