Jordan Willis enters his third season as head coach of the Florida Tech volleyball program in 2025, a role he assumed in February 2023, holding a 29–31 overall record with the Panthers.
In his first season (2023), Willis led Florida Tech to a 9–21 record but highlighted early success with a 4–0 start at the Rollins College Invitational and the program’s first regular-season sweep of Barry since 2008.
The 2024 season marked a major turnaround, as Willis guided the Panthers to a 20–10 overall record and a 14–6 mark in Sunshine State Conference play—finishing with the program’s most conference wins and second-best winning percentage in history (.667). Under his leadership, Florida Tech produced its first two All-Americans in program history: Cordelia Kearns (First Team) and Chiara Patelli (Honorable Mention).
Willis joined Florida Tech after serving as head coach at Davis & Elkins College, where he led the program to a 38–31 record over three seasons and three Mountain East Conference tournament appearances. Prior to that, he spent five seasons as head coach at Otero Junior College, where he guided the Rattlers to a Region IX championship, a top-20 national ranking, and the program’s first NJCAA Tournament appearance.
He also held assistant coaching positions at Colorado State–Pueblo and Texas A&M–Kingsville, focusing on recruiting, scouting, and offensive coordination. Willis began his coaching career at St. Mary’s College of California as head coach of the men’s and women’s club volleyball teams.
A former collegiate setter at St. Mary’s, Willis earned his bachelor’s degree in history in 2002 and his master’s degree in physical education in 2006.
