Box Score SAINT LEO, Fla. (Volleyball) – Heading into a tough matchup with Saint Leo (7-5, 2-2 SSC), Florida Tech hoped to ride the momentum from its previous victory. The Panthers (7-4, 2-2 SSC) snagged the lead after the first stanza but could not muster up enough offense in the next three, eventually falling Friday night to the Lions in four sets (25-21, 19-25, 19-25, 14-25).

Samantha Reeves recorded five kills and two blocks.
On the inside, senior
Ashtin Truesdale finished with 30 assists in addition to eight digs, two blocks and two kills. Sophomore
Becca Bower had a team-high 11 digs against the Lions.
Saint Leo was led by Hope Lemon's match-high 15 kills. Anna Siruckova and Jillian Stolzenburg joined their teammate with 14 and 13 kills, respectively. Jamee Townsend paced the Lions with 15 digs while Britt Sederholm notched 12 more. Ashlee Hodgskin finished with a match-high 47 assists.
FIT has the opportunity to bounce back quickly against SSC foe Eckerd on Saturday in a 4 p.m. ET start at the McArthur Center in St. Petersburg, Florida.
