Melbourne, Fla. (Volleyball) - On Friday night, the Panthers went up against the Buccaneers for the second time this season. Florida Tech were defeated in three sets of play against a strong Barry team.
Florida Tech collected a total of 33 kills, 32 assists, two serve aces, nine blocks and 51 digs.
Defensively, senior
Becca Bower tallied 16 digs on the match with one serve ace. Setter
Kiersten Rosa collected 21 assists on the night with five kills.
Offensively, senior
Heather Bowersox and
Kelly Germain each registered nine kills on the match. Senior
Olivia Hersey collected six kills on the night and with this performance moves up to 7th in the list for most kills of all-time.
Next up, the Crimson and Gray will be back on the court tomorrow to face Lynn University on Senior Day at Melbourne, Fla. The match is set for 12:00 p.m. ET.
