Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Panthers Triumphant Over Flagler 6-1

MELBOURNE, Fla. - Florida Tech men's soccer (4-0) dominated the entire match against the Saints of Flagler (1-3) on a beautiful evening in Melbourne, Florida. The Panthers struck early and often as they downed the Saints, 6-1.

The first goal of the contest came only 36 seconds after the whistle as Mikkel Roeisland scored the game-winning goal off of his own deflected shot. Per Henrik Nag tallied his third goal of the season off of a header that hit the crossbar but still managed to find its way over the line.

Luca Campanini also collected his third goal of the season as he hit a screamer from outside of the box to make it 3-0.

Halftime would not cool off the Panthers as they continued to keep the shots firing in the second half. Guillermo Segovia Marcos joined the party as the fourth member of the Crimson and Gray to net a goal.

Luis Berrios joined the group of goal scorers less than 90 seconds after Marcos, when he scored a second chance goal off a Campanini deflected shot which brought the score to 5-0.

Flagler's Rodrigo Portillo ended Florida Tech's clean sheet when he found the back of the net in the 70th minute.

Nag beat the keeper for a second time in the 79th minute to wrap up the scoring at 6-1.

The Panthers will look to push their win streak to five straight when they head down the coast to West Palm Beach, Fla. to take on No. 7 Palm Beach Atlantic. This match is set for Saturday, Sept. 15 at 7 p.m.
