ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Florida Tech (2-3-1) found themselves on the wrong end of another close match as they fell to Flagler (2-1) in overtime.
 
The Panthers controlled the first half of the match as they dominated the Saints in the attacking end as Florida Tech outshot the Saints, 8-4.
 
Despite the dominant first-half performance, it was Flagler who struck first as Sara Sandberg earned her first goal of the season.
 
Keira McCarthy knotted the game back up at, 1-1, when she netted the ball off of a Kelley Johnson corner kick.
 
The second half was a defensive battle as both units shut down their attacking counterparts as the match stayed 1-1 for the final 45 minutes of regulation.  
 
Overtime was looking as if it was going to follow the blueprint of the second half till Flagler's Sandberg hit the game-winner on the lone shot of the period. 

Florida Tech will look to get back in the win column on Saturday, Sept. 15, as they welcome Palm Beach Atlantic to Melbourne, Florida for the squad's first conference match of the year.
