MELBOURNE, FLA. - Florida Tech volleyball concluded its 2019 season against Nova at the Clemente Center on Saturday afternoon. The Panthers faced the Sharks in the last game of the regular season and fell in three straight.
Before the match, all the seniors were recognized and were giving a frame jersey to signify their memories as a Panther. Seniors
Kyra Atkinson,
Sheila Villagrasa,
Tania Kottke, and
Katrina Hand are truly exemplary student-athletes and will always be remembered.
Villagrasa was allowed to serve the first ball of the game to end her career as a Panther.
Tech recorded 21 kills, 20 assists, four services aces, eight blocks, 57 digs, and 30 points.
Senior
Tania Kottke recorded five kills on 15 attempts for a .133 attacking rate. Kottke also had eight digs on her last match as a Panther.
Audrey Keenan and
Elena Ciulli collected five kills each. Keenan also had 11 digs to end her season.
Kyra Atkinson ended her outstanding career with 589 digs on the season following a 20 dig performance.
Maddalena Fairchild tallied 16 assists and seven digs to end the season.
