ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – It was a rough day for No. 10 Florida Tech as the team lost to Flagler, 4-0, on the road.
Tina Velazquez Rolon started the game for the Panthers and went three and two-thirds innings. During her time she surrendered four runs on five hits with four strikeouts.
Jordan Lawlis finished out the game and was perfect over her two and one-third innings.
The game started off slow as neither team scored till the bottom of the second when the Saints put their first two runs on the board. FC scored its final two runs of the night, in the bottom of the fourth, to make the final score of the game, 4-0.
Florida Tech will put this loss in the rearview as the team turns their attention to the weekend series against Palm Beach Atlantic. Game one of three is set for Friday, March 29, at Nancy Bottge Field on the campus of Florida Tech. The game is set to begin at 3 p.m. ET.
