MELBOURNE, Fla. – Florida Tech men's soccer (3-0) pushed its win streak to three as they defeated Limestone. This 1-0 result came about because of a Panther goal only 4:40 into the match.
Per Henrik Nag (1) was the sole goal scorer of the afternoon but
Solomon Wheatley and Erlend Hasftad Eikeland were credited with an assist.
Jason Fesquet (3-0) garnered his first clean sheet of the season as the France native tallied two saves.
Tech came out the gates on fire and this paid off as Nag found the back of the net less than five minutes into the match. However, that would be the only goal of the afternoon as Limestone's Austin Gunnels put in a masterful performance where he stopped eight Panther shots. On the flip side, the Crimson and Gray gave up four chances and only two were on target.
Florida Tech will have a six-day break before they hit the road for the first time. The men take the quick trip up I95 to St. Augustine, Florida, where they'll do battle against Flagler. This match is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 21, and begins at 7:30 p.m. ET.
